Mayor Visits Royston Care Home

The Mayor came to Margaret House

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor, when he kindly agreed to be the judge of our Christmas Craft Competition. He spent a long time looking at the entries and said that it was a very hard decision choosing the winner & two runners up. He presented the prizes to our worthy winners and then stayed to listen to the residents sing carols, whilst enjoying some home-made mince pies and mulled wine.

Royston Freewheelers

Royston Freewheelers came to visit us

The Royston Freewheelers bought us a gift of a companion cat, it acts just like a real cat and already the residents love him. After names were put in a hat, he has been called Snowy. We would like to say a big thank you to them all for their kindness and generosity in thinking of us at Christmas.

Christmas Raffle in aid of Stepping Out

We raised over £170 for Stepping Out with Carers. On hearing the news, Sue (founder of Stepping Out) said “Oh, that is magnificent, please thank everybody”.
