Looking back to 50 years ago this month, it was the 125th Grand National and 28/1 chance Specify won in one of the closest ever finishes. It turns out that his trainer, John Sutcliffe, started his career as a jockey at Willie Stephenson’s racing yard that used to be right here in Royston, Hertfordshire!! 
This has had us reminicising about great sporting moments of the past as well as picking our runners and riders in the Margaret House Sweepstake so we ready for the 175th Grand National tomorrow!
