Jelly Drops were initially developed by a London based student, Lewis Hornby, after he noticed that his grandmother, who lived with dementia was having trouble staying hydrated.  We have been following the product since its inception through to production and were delighted to be invited to be one of the 1st care homes to be able to offer them to their residents now they are available.  Presented in packaging reminiscent of a box of chocolates the Jelly Drops, which are bite sized pods of edible water, are made up of 90% water and electrolytes, they look and taste just like tasty treats and are an easy and engaging way to help residents stay hydrated.  Lea-Ann Smith, Wellbeing Manager at Margaret House said “We are always looking for new innovations that we can introduce to the home, residents have absolutely loved receiving their ‘box of treats’ and are really enjoying them”.
